We absolutely loved our stay at Stora-Vatnshorn. the farm house was perfect for our large group, with spacious bedrooms and a beautifully decorated sitting room. the kitchen was well-equipped and the bathroom was clean and spacious, complete with a washing machine and dryer. the host, who lived nearby, was incredibly helpful and friendly. the farm itself was a charming sight, with sheep grazing peacefully. the location was ideal for exploring the west of Iceland, including the stunning Snaefellsnes Peninsula. great value for money and a fantastic place to stay.

They are very clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities you need to feel at home. The information book provided in the living room was incredibly useful for exploring the neighborhood, and I highly recommend a visit to the nearby Eriksstadir museum. The location is secluded, peaceful, and perfect for couples, singles, or quiet families. The cottage itself was sweet, cozy, and felt very private and safe. The kitchenette had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable, and the shared showers were surprisingly spacious and clean. The addition of a washing machine was a rare and convenient bonus. a truly lovely stay.

It was also helpful to know that approaching the location from a specific direction allowed for an easier and smoother journey to the destination.

There were a few minor inconveniences during the stay. the front door did not close properly, leading to it banging in strong winds throughout the night.

I stayed at Stora-Vatnshorn for a week and it was absolutely amazing. The cottage was pristine and had everything we needed, including a washing machine and a well-equipped kitchen. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the view from the porch was breathtaking. The host was welcoming and the location was peaceful and beautiful. It was definitely the best place we stayed during our trip.

We had an amazing stay at this cute and cozy cabin at Stora-Vatnshorn. It was the perfect value for money with all the facilities we needed, including wifi. The location surrounded by mountains, horses, and sheep was absolutely picturesque. The hosts, a lovely family, were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Easy to find. Welcoming host. Well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Washing machine, but no English instructions. Comfortable bed, TV, and outstanding view from porch, bedroom, and bathroom. Everything needed for a perfect stay.

The cabin had a beautiful countryside view, which was a definite plus. the fact that there was a kitchenette allowed us to cook our own meals and save some money. the owner was very friendly and helpful when it came to providing directions.

We encountered some issues during our stay. there were flies in the cabin upon our arrival, which was quite bothersome.
